Sponsorship Opportunities
The MIT List Visual Arts Center is commissioning Joan Jonas to represent the U.S. Pavilion at the 56th Venice Biennale, arguably the most prestigious art event in the world.
The special honor of representing the U.S. in Venice is a major undertaking. We are offering art patrons numerous opportunities to help Joan Jonas fulfill her extraordinary vision. What follows are the benefits available at various sponsorship levels. Note that special vernissage packages in Venice begin at $10,000, and membership in the Venice Biennale 2015 Matron/Patron Committee begins at $25,000.
DONOR ($1,000)
Benefits include:
- Listing on exhibition website.
- A copy of the exhibition publication signed by the artist.
DONOR ($2,500)
Benefits include:
- Listing on exhibition website.
- Two entry passes to the Biennale during public hours.

SUPPORTER ($5,000)
Benefits during the Biennale’s vernissage in Venice include:
- A preview tour of the Pavilion with the curators.
